Campus Accessibility

Rutgers designs and constructs all new facilities as well as additions and renovations to existing facilities in full compliance with the ADA Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) as required by federal law. In addition, Rutgers has undertaken an ambitious program to complete access improvements to existing facilities. The Rutgers Access Committee identifies and prioritizes appropriate access improvements on all campuses of Rutgers and annually allocates university funds to complete high priority projects.

Any community member or visitor who experiences difficulty accessing a facility or event at Rutgers is encouraged to bring the matter to the attention of the Rutgers Access Committee through any of the following means:

1. Students / staff within a degree-granting unit of the university may bring the matter to the attention of the Coordinator for the Concerns of Students with Disabilities at your unit.

2. Contact us at cspc@rci.rutgers.edu or 732-932-8576.

3. Contact Maritza M. McGraw at 732-445-2155 x 533 or mmcgraw@facilities.rutgers.edu.

4. Rutgers faculty, staff, and students can report inaccessible facilities online through the "Reporting ADA Deficiencies" form.
